Easter Week Day #3

Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Wednesday!

Oh goodness, it’s been an eventful week for me- I’m just now getting back home from a surprise bridal shower and some time with relatives. We had the surprise bridal shower for my assistant (who also happens to be like a sister), which brought her sister and one of my “nephews” from the east coast. I spent a couple unplanned days with them, which was lovely, but I’m now playing catch up on orders and getting back into the groove of things. Thank goodness for wi-fi and my laptop so I could still keep up with Easter week!

Today I have a card that showcases the new Stitched Banner Duo dies, along with the Picket Fence and Stitched Duo 1. This card just might be one of my favorites that I’ve created this year- the colors and all the details came together effortlessly.

I once again pulled out the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn (because it’s the best). Right now I’m gathering ideas for more videos and I think a strong contender is “My Favorite Dies”- what do you think of that idea? I own a decent amount of dies, but there are just a handful that I go to over and over again and I want to share those with you. Let me know your thoughts!

In my March Craft Haul video, I showed off the large amount of Avery Elle papers I recently purchased. Their paper packs are so great for my style of cardmaking and I love the variety of colors they offer. I like subtle prints on my papers and their chevron, striped and polka dot papers are totally up my alley. My favorite? The Sorbet Collection.

Have you been enjoying Easter week so far? I’m debating on whether I want to do another theme week in the near future. If I do, what kind of theme or products would you like to see?

Well, it’s back to orders for me. I’ll be sharing soon about a new retailer that has been in the works for a bit. This company is well loved and big in the stamp community, so this is a big deal for my small business- I can’t wait to spill the news once I get their latest order shipped. It’s still surreal to have these things happen to me and PPP!

Until next time…

  2. What a delightful card! I agree that everything just melds together beautifully and presents a Happy and fun card! Great job! I love themes and am thinking I would love to see an safari theme and then maybe a pets theme, barnyard animal theme and lots of animal themes could be done! LOL TFS!
Congratulations on the big order, can’t wait to find out who it is for!

  3. the retailer has it posted—think I saw it on instagram (?) so happy for you :)

  4. Love your cards and I think it’s fun to have themes. How about a Birthday theme, and ‘Summer Fun’ theme during the summer? The favorite dies theme is a great idea. Glad you took a break, everyone needs one now and then!

  5. Love your card; it is so very cute.

My favorite local craft store, Buffalo Stamps and Stuff is
now carrying your sequins. They posted in their newsletter
about the sequins so I ran right in there to buy some.
Bought 16 packages of different sizes, colors and shapes.
They are all so gorgeous. And she is almost sold out
    after only 2 days.

  6. Hi Paulina! I love that your die sets are so versatile!! And how you use the little dies with other big dies from other sets. It makes them fun and timeless. I Love Timeless. I can’t wait for my stitched duo dies to come in. ;) I’ve got some of the Sizzix movers and shapers dies that cut 3 holes or 4 windows and even a flim strip Spellbinders die with 3 windows, but I’ve only ever used them to spell Mom or Dad or as a real window. LOL I guess I’m very closed mined sometimes. I think of a far away scene instead of filling each window pane with something fun. So, Thank You for your take and inspiration on this type of card. It is a very fun card with all of those snails and eggs tucked in each window pane.

  7. Hi Paulina,
I bought my first die from you, a couple weeks ago, and I can’t stop using it!
Yours sequins are fabulous love them… A ton!
Thank you for such a good products.
