Organized Sequin Storage + Giveaway

Pretty Pink Posh

Hi everyone, it’s Nina-Marie here today!

Like many of you, I am always looking for great storage solutions to keep my supplies and tools organized. Over the last two years, Paulina has gotten emails and comments asking for the best way to store her small sequins and embellishments and we are so excited to finally share our recommended storage in today’s post!

Sequins and other small embellishments can sometimes get a little tricky because they are so tiny and very easy to not only lose, but keep organized too. Well today I am sharing with you how simple organization can be using the Tiny Container Tray made by Bead Storage Solutions! (We found the best price is from Amazon, so we’re linking to their site.)

I found these boxes online about 10 months ago and I have loved them! Not only does it allow me to keep myself organized (which is so important!), but it also looks pretty too. :)

The tray holds 78 individual containers and the entire tray is about 14” x 10” in size; containers are about 2” x 1”. A single bag of the Pretty Pink Posh sequin packs fit into a single container, which really optimizes the space!

I love how handy this is too when I am working; I simply have to pull out the individual containers that I want to use from the tray and sit them on my craft table without taking up a lot of space.

I’ve put together a video, giving you a closer look at the Tiny Container Tray so you can see if it’s right for you.

Our personal favorite option is Storage #1 (which is what we referenced in today’s post and video) but if you have larger quantities of certain sequins, or perhaps bigger embellishments like beads and buttons, you might like Storage #2. It really comes down to your craft stash and personal preference.

thanks for the storage tip. I have lots of small boxes – will be nice to put all of my sequins into one box.

  72. What a great way to store sequins. But I thought I don’t need something that big. Then I went and counted how many Pretty Pink Posh items I have and found I could fill the box half way right now. PPP sequins and such are addictive.

  73. Great system! Sure beats my recycled prescription bottles! Thanks for sharing this with us!

    1. Oops, I should read directions! I really love all of your sequin mixes already. I would love to see an iridescent jewel tone (ruby, sapphire emerald, etc.).

  74. Love mixes with blues and iradesant tones also with beads. Like all the seasonal mixes but the kindness one is probably my favorite right now. Thanks for the info on storage and give away. 😉

  75. I would love to see a rainbow mix along with clear in multiple sizes in the package. I think shaker mixes with seed beeds mixed with the sequins would also be helpful.

  76. This is a brilliant storage idea! I have such an enormous sequin/confetti/seed bead collection, and this would be a great solution to contain everything in one place! I also love that the containers are stackable! I LOVE, and currently own all of the sequins that are in your shop!….but I would like to see some different sizes (3mm, 5mm and 8mm)…and a bigger variety of finishes. I like the satin and iris sequins that you offer, but my favorite are sequins with an opaque finish. I would also love to see some of the shaped confetti/sequins, like the circles, stars & hearts in some different colors!!! 91. Such a great idea. Thanks for the info. And it makes the sequins look so pretty!!

  92. What an awesome storage system! If I didn’t already have the CraftMates Lockables system that Paulina recommended a year or so ago, I would definitely purchase one or two each of the Bead Storage Solutions #1 and #2 containers…because who doesn’t need an excuse to buy more embellishments?! The CraftMates system is fine, but I think I like the idea of being able to take only the individual containers of colors to my work space better than having to take ALL of my sequins to the table just because the colors I am using are stored in three or four different multi-sectional containers. As far as new and upcoming in the Pretty Pink Posh world, I would like to see more copper, brass and bronze embellishments, beads and sequins to use on my more masculine and rustic-type cards… :)

  93. Oh my goodness this is such a great storage idea! I totally could use the first storage option because I have so many sequins floating around every where. Thank you so much for sharing this idea and also for the opportunity to win!

  94. These storage containers
look like they do a great
job! Spiffy. I’d like to see
a mix of pink, purple and
    turquoise.
    Carla from Utah

  97. Beautiful storage system and great way to stay organized. I looked into this system previously but it was too pricey for my budget, so this is a fabulous prize! Thank you so much – I am excited about winning! As for future mixes, I would love to see more purple! Thanks so much

  99. Such a awesome solution – love it!!!!! It will just feed my addiction more!!!!!

  102. I would love to see more sequin mixes with various different shapes within the same mix.

  103. I LOVE this storage idea! I have one full, but one can NEVER have too many sequins!! : )
How ’bout a coffee mix for the upcoming coffee lovers hop? Espresso, bronze and cream, perhaps? I’d love to see some sequins with something inside, like a pearl (which I usually add) covering the hole… do any come that way?

  104. I love all the clear sequins… so a mix of those, with maybe some beads would be great

  105. What a perfect solution! LOVE these trays! Thanks for the chance to win!

  106. Love this idea for sequin storage!! My current storage option is now discontinued so it’s the perfect opportunity to try something new:)

  112. I love purple and teal so a sequin mix of those colors would be great. I love all your mixes so whatever you come up with in the future will be awesome, I’m sure! I am starting my mixed sequin collection and it’s growing pretty fast, so to win this storage (& $50 to aid my stash!) would be so helpful! Thank you!

  122. I have been looking for a new sequin storage option! Thanks for the chance to win!! <3

  123. That is a tough question because you already have such a great variety…but I do love turquoise and purples…

  124. So happy I woke up very early this morning! I ordered right away! I love the idea of my sequins all in one tray! TFS ! They looks so pretty too!

I’m a storage container nut, I love storage and although I have tons of containers, I don’t use all the ones I get right away because they don’t work out for what I intended them for. This system is going to be used for all kinds of little doo-dads and I can’t wait to get a few of the trays. AND… thank you for the opportunity to win a tray along with a gift certificate to the store….that is so awesome!!! You remain and always will be my favorite store for the prettiest sequins and beautiful one of a kind dies!!!!

    1. Tammy, you have no idea how much this comment made me smile. I am so happy we were able to share this storage system! Thank you for not only leaving a comment, but such a sweet one at that. :)

      1. Awww… I love to make people smile. Especially people that have such a huge heart like you!!!!

  171. Eeep! So pretty. I use a pretty good container system but there’s only 7 compartments in each one so this would be perfect to keep them all in one ‘box’. Thanks for the chance to win such a great prize.

  172. That is a really neat way to store sequins and have them available at your fingertips!

  173. This is an AWESOME storage solution!!! I would LOVE to own one… Thanks for the chance to win!

  174. This is hands-down the smartest and best looking storage system I’ve seen. I spent too much money on storage trays for beads that leak trails of bead crumbs everywhere. This system looks leak-proof and holds so much more on one tray than my current storage system of many trays.

  175. Paulina, I hope you are feeling well, we haven’t seen a video from you in awhile. I aspire to be organized and love your products. Can’t wait to try.

  176. Kudos to Nina-Marie for a great video. I like the looks of this container. It looks compact, holding lots of goodies. It will fit in a drawer, & I like that it holds so much. Thanks for the tip, & I think I’m going to look for a pretty mix of clear sequins w/ some very light shades of blue. Thank you for providing us with so many options, that are such good quality!

  177. THANK YOU for sharing your FABULOUS storage with us Nina-Marie!!!
… I have to confess that I thought “how pretty” before I started reading :)
THANK YOU for the chance to win Paulina!!! I will definitely be checking these out because my storage is a mis-matched MESS!!!
PS – I would love to see more mixes where there are multiple sizes of the same colour and mixes that are “shaker ready” with a mix of sequins, confetti and beads.

  178. My favorite shapes are stars, hearts & shamrocks. I’d love to see a mix of these three shapes. The storage boxes look perfect. Thanks for a fabulous giveaway.

  179. Fabulous storage idea. Thanks for sharing this. I’d like to see a spring mix of yellows.

  180. This is fantastic! I use the craftmate lockables right now but I’m thinking of changing to this! Thanks for the info!

  181. Thanks for sharing! I definitely can use this storage system. My sequins are still in the little baggies it came in.

  182. Great video. Wish I had that many different colored sequins! That you for the p-Touch hint and the embossing powder to keep the static scatter.

  183. I’ve been looking for a way to organize my small embellishments and I think you found it for me! Thanks for the great blog post.

  184. I didn’t even know this kind of container existed and I am not the most organized person. This is definitely the best storage system I have sseen by far! Maybe I should start my organization with this container. Thanks for the video and the giveaway.

  185. I enjoy the color packs designed especially for other Designers and Companies…to match some of their papers and inks. Frankly….I love all your sequins!

  186. I love anything shiny, shiny, shiny. I pkgs that have a mix of diamonds, pearls, & silver jems. But, Pink, and purple mixes are perfect for my granddaughters. Thanks for the giveaway chance.

  187. This container has been on my Amazon wishlist for a while now. After watching this super-helpful video, I am going to order it very soon!

  188. Thanks SO MUCH for the chance!! These look GREAT!! I find rubbing the sequin bag and the inside and outside of the container with a dryer sheet REALLY helps with getting sequins into containers. :D

  189. The little containers are so cute. I really like that they have individual lids and a locking cover to boot! I like sequin mixes that have multiple sizes, both cupped and flat and seed beads. Thanks so much for the chance to win.

  190. What great storage, just what I need, would love to see more tiny shape sequins in any color. This storage system doesn’t take up much space either, which is so nice., TFS.

  191. Ohhh what a fab storage idea, I definitely need to get me one of these!
I’d like some pastels and maybe some flat sequins.

  192. Ooh I would love to see star mixes in different sizes and colours, I love stars! Fab container. Thank you for the chance to win the awesome prize! xxx

  193. This looks like a great way to store sequins. Thanks for the chance to win!

  194. What a great storage container! Thanks for sharing…always looking for ways to stay organized!

  195. What a cute way to store sequins! I would love to see seasonal color themed collections like warm colors for fall, pastels for spring, bright for summer and cool for winter.

  196. Great storage idea. I love it! I love all your sequins so any woud be great!

  197. I love these storage trays! How about a sequin mix suited for boys?

  198. These look like perfect storage for our sequins. I like the individual tiny compartments. Thank you for this opportunity.

    1. And I would like mixes of the same color but different sized sequins or confetti. An example would be a bag of pink sequins in large, small and maybe different shapes like stars mixed in that pink bag. The same for other colors. I like to organize by colors.

  199. I love your new sequin storage, I love all the sequins, and all the mixes.

  200. I’d love to see mixes with several sizes of the same colour included. Or maybe even a mix of sizes in both solid and transparent of a single colour. Mixed with various monochromatic colours and beads would be awesome too.

  201. I’d love to see sequins in a platinum color. Great storage idea! I love it.

  202. I have one of these, and I absolutely love it.. Sadly, I think I need about 10 more.. haha 💗💗💗

  203. What a great idea. You would not believe how many times i have knocked over my sequins and ended up spending the day picking them up off of the floor.

  204. THIS is the greatest thing since sliced bread!! LOVE this storage unit…it’s just what I have been looking for and didn’t know it!! ;0

  205. Thank you for sharing this. Love the little baby boxes that hold the sequins. I wonder if it would hold glitter and embossing powder? I use glitter with some of my sequins in my shaker cards.. I am thinking it might be kind of a BIG mess in the little baby boxes..The static might be a bit much for the glitter..humm.. the thought is there though…Mixing black and white with a color of glitter or beads is what i would like to see

  206. Thanks for the info, and especially the tip about how to “destaticize” your sequins! :) I’d love to see an iridescent clear sequin mix, please.~ Andrea

  207. Thank you for all the tips using this wonderful storage container. I just have few sequins but I would like violet, mint and pale yellow. TFS this prize wih us…

  208. Those containers are wonderful! Just what I need to corral all of the sequins and embellishments that I have. I would love to see a mix of all types and shapes of just iridescent sequins. Thanks so much!

  209. I love sequins…and this looks like the perfect storage solution!!

  210. These storage containers are really cool. Thanks for sharing!

  211. Will have to check out those storage containers…I would like to see more iridescent mixes in the future…thanks for the give-a-way.

  212. I’d love to win this storage container. I’m new to sequins, but I sure have lots of beads! lol.
I’d like to see you come out with a mix of beads, heart confetti and sequins, in 50’s diner colors: red, aqua, black, silver, and maybe bright yellow. A winner!

  213. Thanks for the very informative video! I love using sequins on my projects, but needed to find a better container for these little bitty things!

  214. I just love these storage containers. I am currently using lockables and they are all full with PPP sequins. I am definetly going to invest in this one. I already love your sequin collections, I love to see combinations of blue’s and green’s, purples, copper’s, yellow’s and golds. What ever you put together, works for me!

  215. I would love to see a mix that was to different but great together color combinations. I struggle with putting color together that looks great. Also coordinating beads and or ribbon would be heaven.

  216. I Love all your sequins!!! The storage idea is amazing! Thank you

  217. I really like the storage container Nina-Maria showed us today and using the powder tool for static. I am thinking a black, hot pink, and white mix or a black, white and ruby red mix!

  218. It was love at first sight when I say this sequin storage system. I would be beyond thrilled to win it…I need to find a way to organize my stash so I can see what I have to use them more often in my card making and other paper crafts.

  219. This would be so useful! I have lots of different uses for this! Also, we have never shopped with Pretty Pink Posh before, so a gift certificate would help a lot to try it out! :)

  220. This is really cute! My daughter loves sparkles, so she would really enjoy using the gift certificate! Thanks! :)

  221. I’d love to see a midnight mix! like black or dark blue sequins with gold and silver stars and mini moons :)

  222. I love anything that Paulina comes up with! Great talent and love to support smaller businesses like Paulina!

  223. I’ve been using small round containers intended for beads for my sequins and brads. Your oblong boxes are prettier and your tray holds more. Wish I’d seen this a few months ago. Oh well, still love my sequins and tiny hearts.

  224. I’m new to collecting sequins and other embellies for my cards. I think your collections our gorgeous. Not sure what new ones I would suggest. I just need to start collecting the ones that are already in your shop. Thank you for your inspiration and the opportunity to win.

  225. I NEED this storage container!! I’ve been looking everywhere for a container to hold my sequins and this is the ONE. I’d like to see a mix with the 2016 Pantone color. I think that would be great.

  226. I could sure use this! Just bought a variety of colors of sequins and just don’t know what to do with them.

  227. Oh Paulina…yours are the only sequins I like. I tried someone else’s but they weren’t as pretty. Right now Ii store them in your original packaging in a mini loaf pan. I could defiantly use that, then i could get MORE sequins!

  228. The storage looks soooo pretty with all the sequins! I love how each of the PPP packets fits perfectly in the itty bitty containers!

  229. This was perfect timing :)
I recently wondered how to store my beautiful sequins bow that I’ve built a collection, what a great storage kit!

  230. I ran across a post of yours commenting on what you used; looked so good, I already bought it! I arrived and I’m in the process of transferring. Love it, and thank you for the heads up suggestion, it’s perfect!!!

As for ideas, it’s been mentioned. Your mixtures are wonderful, I like the mixed sizes and more iridescent sequins, or see thru colored ones are my preference. The idea of mixing like or similar colors with seed beads is another good idea, especially for those shaker cards. You have a great product, keep up the good work!!

  231. You have so many neat things on your site, One thing I would get would be is the storage try to be able to keep sequin in without all in their place..

  232. I found these 2 organizers online. Once I tried putting away 1 row of different sizes, I was hooked. These little boxes each have a indented spot to grab your box. Once the box is out, it is very easy to open the lid and take out sequins, beads.pr even small brads. Each box comes with its own clear lid, which can be inverted to make a great way to not loose any boxes – you put the ones you use on the tray and have fun. I recommend using a small dish (porcelian or glass to put your sequins in to see how the mixture works. Having the little boxes in the tray lets you put more of the same colors if you need more.

  233. These are awesome! I love 88 little container one! It’ll be a challenge to fill them up with ppp sequins:)
