Creating Ink Swatches + Giveaway

Pretty Pink Posh: Creating Ink Swatches

Well hello everyone, it’s Nina-Marie here! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by the Pretty Pink Posh blog. Today I have a fun video tutorial for you featuring an idea on how you can use your Pretty Pink Posh Mini Tag dies to create your very own custom ink swatches!

Pretty Pink Posh

I love being able to create attractive yet functional organization solutions for my creative space; my craft room is evidence of that. I find that the Mini Tag dies are the perfect size for using as ink swatches that allow me to keep my ink colors organized and handy as I am creating.

Pretty Pink Posh

In my video tutorial, I am going to walk you through how I created these tags very simply. Depending on how large your ink collection is, you’ll probably spend a little bit of time die cutting but it goes by pretty quickly, especially if you’re watching a movie or something while you pass the dies through your die cutting machine over and over!

Pretty Pink Posh

For the swatch ring, I used a large hoop earring that I found at my craft store. I chose this particular ring system because I love the flip-clasp closure of the hoop, which allows easy access to the ink swatches and keeps them secure when I want them all to stay on the ring. However, you can use whatever type of ring you prefer to hold your swatches. You can also find similar, inexpensive hoop earrings in the jewelry section of local box stores like Target, Walmart, etc, or purchase binder rings in the office section or on Amazon HERE.
