Christmas Theme & Giveaway Week- Day 2

Hello friends!! Amy L. here today with a special project. I have made a set of Christmas ornaments. They are so adorable and so easy to create. Let’s get started right away!

Christmas Theme & Giveaway Week- Day 2

More details on my ornaments:

  1. Die cut the frames with Window Frames Dies from different card stocks
  2. For the background, I blended Altenew inks in Frosty Pink, Sea Glass, Mango Smoothie and Frayed Leaf to match the frames
  3. Assemble the shaker tags with the frames, acetate sheets, foam tape and 6mm Sparkling Clear sequins and 3mm Sparkling Clear sequins
  4. Stamp images from STAMPtember Winter Bird Stamp Set, Birdie Friends Stamp Set, Fox Friends Stamp Set and Winter Wonderland Stamp Set. Color with Copic markers. Add highlights with white gel pen. Die cut out with the coordinating dies
  5. Mount everything in place with foam tape. Embellish with ribbon, twine and jingle bells to finish

  2. Such sweet ornaments, lovely design and colours! We have a set of very old dwarf and mushroom shaped baubles for the Christmas tree in my family home, and they’re my very favourite ornaments – not a typical shape, very intricate, and have been in the family for a looooong time! :-)

  13. These are too adorable!! My children and I put our Christmas tree up yesterday! these would go perfectly with our tree decor. Over the years my children have brought home many different Christmas crafts from school…most are ornaments. And I must say that their handmade ornaments are by far the most precious and priceless ones on our tree. Merry Christmas to you all!! 💗

  36. I cherish the ornaments my husband and I have collected for each year we’ve been married. We are up to 18!

  40. Ornaments are my favorite decorations. We buy or make a new one every year. I love remembering each of these moments as we hang them on the tree. One of my favorites is a bulb that my son made one year at Michael. He filled it with notes sharing all of the things that were important to him that year. He included video games and his cats. I Love reading those notes every year.

  44. These are absolutely adorable!
    My favorite ornaments are a set of vintage German glass ornaments that belonged to my Mom. I don’t even remember her using them over the years, but she showed them to me once a few years back. They were stored away in her closet. She passed away in Oct 2015, and this will be my first year to put them on my tree.

  56. We grew up pretty poor and have a lot of hand-me-down decorations and homemade items like popcorn string. Now that I am older my favorite ornaments are a set of hand painted glass bulbs that have motifs painted in shades of gold. It probably sounds kind of silly, but we could never have afforded something so “extravagant” then so I sort of cherish them. They are a tradition for our tree every year for the last 16 years.

  67. My favourite decoration in my home is a Nativity music figurine that has the stiry of Christmas on the sides. Wonderful tags love the shaker element.

  68. My favorite ornaments are some glass icicles that belonged to my great grandmother. I love how they add sparkle and shine to my Christmas tree!

    My favourite ornament is a handmade one. You know the ball ornaments that are made from circles with three edges folded up & adhered together? Well my favourite one is made from Core’dinations cardstock so it is nicely distressed, with a sparkling rhinestone in the middle of each one.

  73. I have a a couple favorite decorations. My first favorite is a hallmark one from when I was a kid called Reindoggy and the other are the handmade ones my grandma made when my mom and aunts were little.

  105. My favorite ornaments are the 3 my children made for me years ago in grade school.

  106. When we were kids we would sit and make beaded Christmas ornaments while watching Hee Haw during the months of November and December. I now have all of the beaded ornaments we made and they are the first to go on the tree each year and the last to come down! The memories that they trigger are like a pair of warm, fuzzy slippers on a cold winter’s night!

  111. These frames make great ornaments! Thanks for the inspiration! My favorite ornaments are the handmade ones made by my mom, my siblings, and my nieces and nephews. Handmade items always seem so special because of the love that goes into making them.

  136. It’s hard for me to choose a favorite! My parents gave us a new ornament every year, so when we moved out we had ornaments for a tree of our own. I think my favorite of those would be the mice eating a Hershey bar together. It’s super cute!

  146. I don’t really have a favourite ornament or decoration. I seem to have numerous treasured items though. A china cabinet full of teacups that were my grandmother’s and great aunt’s that are now mine, Morecroft vases that we gave to my mother-in-law who passed away recently and were passed on to me, the rocking chair my other grandmother rocked me in as a toddler at her home in Prince Edward Island…

  148. OMG I love these shaker ointments so much!! I saw them on Insta and had to pop over! All of the PPP stamps are so amazing! I love seeing the projects created with them! What a treat!   149. My favorite ornament is the Christmas paper ball I made when I was about 8 years old. I still have it after all these years and every year we hang it on our chrism’s tree :)

My favorite Christmas decoration is a quilted wall-hanging I made, WAY before I got into papercrafting, and it took over my craft room… It features St. Nick feeding some chickadees, and we hang it on the door from the foyer to welcome guests. And we usually feed them much more than bird-seed!

  155. My favorite decoration this year is the nativity Creche I made to display the nativity on. It looks amazing with the sign over it that says “O Come Let us Adore Him, Christ the Lord.”

  159. Aww!! These ornaments are just so cute! I love the happy colors – they definitely complement the happy images! My favorite ornament is a little angel that I got when I was a baby. It always takes a place of honor on our tree and I cherish it dearly.

  187. Gasp!!!! Oh my gosh, I love the shape, shading and fun colors for these super sweet ornaments! I would love to make these to use as tags on gift boxes that the recipient could use on their tree next year! Just lovely!! All of my ornaments are favorites in 1 way or another. When my son was born 26 years ago, I would take him to the store to pick out his very own ornament every year and note the date on it. I intend to give him all of those ornaments when he marries and they have their 1st Christmas together. Those are simply priceless to me. Merry Christmas!!

  188. These are adorable! I have some of my grandmother’s ornaments on our tree. She only bought one ornament a year. That’s all they could afford, and she cherished each one. Each ornament has the year labeled on the box. They are priceless to me.

  196. My favorite holiday decoration is a 8-1/2″ x 11″ angel stitched in gold that my high school German teacher gave me, along with a gold angel candleholder I got the same year. Even if I don’t do any other decorating, these two items are displayed!

  197. Those chickies are so adorable. My favorite ornaments are the ones my kids made. They are paper and falling apart but I put them up on the tree. They moan and groan but they go up every year.
