A Blog Named Hero Celebration Hop

Hello, friends!

We are excited to be participating in a blog hop hosted by A Blog Named Hero. They are celebrating their fifth anniversary and since we have previously sponsored their challenge, they invited us to join in the festivities this weekend for their two day blog hop packed full of prizes and inspiration!

Today the talented Jeanne has created a special card for this occasion. I always adore the way Jeanne creates vibrant and fun backgrounds and this card is no exception. She used theĀ Stitched Borders 3 die set and die cut the wide strip in a variety of colors. Imagine all the fun color combinations you could do with this concept!

Celebrations to me mean bright colors, confetti and balloons. The star confetti was made with stars from the Mini Tags die set cut from gold glitter paper. If you don’t want bulkiness or too much height, these little die cuts are a great way to get some sparkle onto your projects.

The little girl and balloons are from the new Friends Forever set and the sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings set. These sets are quickly becoming a favorite for many and it’s easy to see why- they are just so fun and versatile!

The little bow at the top is part of the Twine and Bows die set. This is such a unique set and if you like the look of bows, but maybe aren’t the best at making perfect bows, or again, don’t want to add bulkiness to your card, this set is a MUST HAVE!
