Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video with some cute mini notecards for Halloween! I love the idea of having something non-treat related for the holiday and these tiny shaker cards are perfect for such occasions.

Before starting the video, I cut my Mini Scallop Card Dies with some orangey-pink cardstock and made shaker frames with black cardstock and a generic nested square that fit nicely inside the stitched square in the die set. I start with making the background since it needs the most time to dry. Using white cardstock, I stenciled the Spooky Sky Stencils with Distress Oxides (Lost Shadow for the clouds and Black Soot for the bats) and stencil paste. I used yellow to make the stars pop!

While the background was drying, I stamped and colored my Halloween Signs stamp set images with alcohol markers. I used the Halloween Signs coordinating dies to cut them out. With black ink, I stamped different sentiments into the signs and they are just the cutest! My background was dry enough so I splattered on some purple metallic watercolor and trimmed them down to just slightly smaller than 2.5×2.5”.

I assembled the shaker panels with acetate and thick foam tape, you can see each step in today’s video! I then adhered the panel to my orangey-pink mini cards as well as white square on the inside with a Halloween sentiment stamped in purple.

Hello friends. It’s Lisa Mears here and today I’m sharing a Halloween card I made using some fun new Halloween products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I stamped the cupcakes from the Halloween Cupcakes stamp set onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and I colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors: Deep Violet, Black, Light Green, FL Green, Orange, Light Gray, Deep Brown, and Sugar Almond Pink. I used a water brush to blend the colors to get a shaded look. When I finished coloring, I die cut the cupcakes with the Halloween Cupcakes coordinating dies.

For the background of my card, I cut an 8 1/4” x 3 1/4” piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and applied Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink to the entire panel. I added Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink to the edges. Next, I used the Layered Spider Webs stencil and stenciled the spider webs in Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink. I added some Sheer Shimmer Spritz to the background and applied a paper towel over it to pick up some of the ink and to add a little shine.

I used the Stitched Border 1 dies to add the purple and orange borders and then added all six Halloween cupcakes in a row. Finally, I added a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp and die set.

Hi crafty friends! Rebecca here today to share a fun Halloween shaker card! This shaker card is made with the Ghost Shaker Dies and is so fun because it is made with non traditional colors.

The Ghost Shaker Dies come with everything you need to cut the base of the ghost, the shaker frames and the acetate shaker window. I cut my ghosts out of pink cardstock for a fun look, but if pink is not your thing, you can use any color you like for your card. I filled my shaker with the Ghostly Friends Clay Confetti which includes black and white ghosts, hearts, sprinkles and more.

The Ghost Shaker Dies even comes with small dies for the eyes and mouth for your ghost and a boo script sentiment. I used all of those to complete the two flat ghosts and the one shaker ghost. And for a fun touch, I added two of the hearts from the Ghostly Friends Clay Confetti on each ghost to make a bow! This cute die set literally has everything you need to make fun, whimsical Halloween cards with no need for stamping!

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video featuring some of the new Halloween themed products from the newest release! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I’m just so excited to have the new products for the upcoming holiday and to share some inspiration with you.

Before I started my video, I stamped four of the six cupcakes from the Halloween Cupcakes stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also cut out the Spooky Wishes Shadow Dies out of purple (for the shadow) and holographic (for the words) cardstocks.

To make sure it has enough time to dry, we’re going to start with the stenciled background. I cut a piece of light grey cardstock slightly smaller than A2, 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″. Using Distress Inks, I stenciled different colors through the layers of the cute candies from the Layered Candy Treats Stencils; the different colors were Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, Milled Lavender and Lost Shadow. For the areas that layered on top of other colors of the candies, I used some Pearl White Stardust Butter stencil paste to add some shine and dimension.

Before putting my inks away, I used the Milled Lavender to ink the purple Spooky Wishes Shadow die cut pieces so they have a bit of an ombre look to them. I then layered the word die cut pieces with liquid adhesive to finish off my sentiment. Next I colored in my images with Ohuhu Art Honolulu Markers and added some white gel pen accents for highlights on the images.

To assemble the card, I glued the grey, stenciled cardstock to the center of an A2 card base and layered on the sentiment and cupcakes to the card with foam adhesive. I just love how fun the candies look and the soft colors – pastel Halloween is just my favorite combination.

The year is flying by and while the weather is hot here in Washington, we know that some of you are starting Christmas projects. Our big holiday release is in October, but if you want to stock up on some “oldies but goodies” in the Christmas section, now is the time!

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am embracing Christmas in July and wanted to show how you can mix and match floral stamp sets to put in the wagon image from the Flower Garden stamp set! For this card, I am using the Poinsettia Corners stamp set so we can make a Christmas card.

To make sure it has enough time to dry, we’re going to start with the stenciled background. I cut
a piece of olive green cardstock with the second largest square from the Wonky Stitched
Squares Dies. Using the Swiss Dots Stencil, I added in Game Over Lunar Paste which is a
cranberry red stencil paste.

I stamped my images next with alcohol marker friendly black ink and white cardstock so I could
color them in with my Ohuhu Art Honolulu Markers. If you would like to know which colors, I
have the marker caps showing in the video and read the colors as well. After coloring in the
wagon from the Flower Garden stamp set and poinsettias from the Poinsettia Corners
stamp set, I used the Flower Garden coordinating dies and Poinsettia Corners
coordinating dies to cut them out.

When coloring the wagon, I did not color any of the floral images and trimmed the image down
so there was just a small area for me to use foam adhesive to add my poinsettias. I also layered
in the smaller poinsettias around the wagon with liquid adhesive and attached the images to my
stenciled wonky square.

For the background of the card, I cut a piece of cranberry red cardstock to 4×5-1/4″ and added
Walnut Stain Distress Ink around the edges as well as splattering to create some interest on the
background cardstock and would not look too plain. While it was drying, I embossed my
sentiment from the Holiday Scripts stamp set in white on black cardstock and used the
Holiday Scripts coordinating dies to cut them out.

To assemble the card, I glued the red cardstock to the center of an A2 card base and then the
stenciled background with images to the top of the card so there is an even border around the
top and sides of the wonky square. I glued my Merry Christmas sentiment beneath the square
and added a few 4mm Clear Droplets for some added shine but keeping my color scheme.

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I have a new video to share with you all today. I always struggle with making sure I have enough birthday cards for my nephews! So I wanted to share a process today that makes 2 mini slimline cards that can be used for any one, and honestly any occasion.

To make sure it has enough time to dry, we’re going to start with the stenciled background. I have a piece of light green cardstock trimmed to 6×6” and I used the Streamers Stencils to give a jungle feel as you can see with the theme I’m going for! I used the A Stencil with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and the B Stencil with Crocodile Tears Solar Paste. In between the layers, I splattered on some metallic orange watercolor. 

I stamped a bunch of critters from the Jungle Friends and Jungle Additions stamp sets with alcohol marker friendly black ink. I used the coordinating dies for both sets to cut them out and attached them to my low tack sticky mat which helps them stay in place while I’m coloring them in with my Ohuhu Art Alcohol Markers.

We can’t have a jungle without any leaves so I stamped two of my favorite leaves from both the Jungle Friends and Jungle Additions stamp sets with a green ink on green cardstock. I wanted to add the leaf details without having to do more coloring, so this is a great way to get green leaves without markers! I used the coordinating dies for both sets on the leaves and set them aside. I cut more leaves by using one of the Stitched Leafy Borders Dies with some green glitter paper.

Everything is ready to be trimmed and assembled now! I trimmed the stenciled background down to two pieces that measure 5.5×2.75”, a piece of orange cardstock to two pieces that measure 5.75×3” and card bases that measure 6×3.25” when scored in half. I glued them all together so the orange cardstock is a mat for the stenciled background on the card base. I layered the leaves and glued them down with liquid adhesive and popped up my critters with foam adhesive.

Using the same green ink, I stamped the “hugs” sentiment from the Heart Critters stamp set and used its coordinating die to cut it out. I glued it to the open space in the upper right of the cards. To add some final touches, I adhered down a few of the Lime Shimmer Confetti Mix.

It’s Lisa Mears on the blog today sharing some watermelon themed cards using products from Pretty Pink Posh’s June 2023 release.  Watermelon cards are perfect year round, but I especially love them for the upcoming summer months. You can use them for friendship cards, thank you cards, and more!

I stamped the images from the Watermelon stamp set onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors —  Carmine Red, Light Carmine, Emerald Green, May Green, and the Blender. After I colored them, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the card base, I used the Mini Scallop Card die set. This die set makes a card base that is approximately 3 1/4” with a beautiful scallop border. There is beautiful stitching on the front and also comes with a stitched square layering die. 

I die cut the stitched square layering die and added distress oxide inks in the following colors — Worn Lipstick and Cracked Pistachio. 

I added my stamped images to the front of the cards. I used the sentiment stamps from the Watermelon stamp set.  For one of the cards, I used the Friend Shadow die.

I just love these mini cards. They are perfect for sending a quick note to a friend, co-worker, or loved one.
